Scott started his insurance career in 1981 with Kentucky Farm Bureau and progressed through a number of positions including five years as Commercial Lines Underwriter and nine years as one of three Commercial Field Underwriting Representative.

He joined Thoroughbred Associates in 1999 as an inside Commercial Lines Technician and is making the transition to outside sales. He holds certificates of General Insurance and Associates in Underwriting designations, he also holds licenses for General Lines and a Kentucky Adjusters License.

He and his wife, Jackie, have three children, daughter Catie and sons Jacob and Chad. They are members of both Middletown United Methodist and Southeast Christian Church.
